Topics to be covered include:
Next-gen sequencing-based platforms and deep sequencing used in clinical diagnostics/microbiology, including the challenge of managing and using the volume and type of data generated in this setting
Multiplexed microbiology/MCM devices and regulatory perspectives
Emerging and innovative chip- and bead-based arrays, cartridge-based test systems
Mass spectrometry analysis – the role in clinical diagnostics and techniques developed to allow analysis from blood culture bottles
