Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Second Annual
Mass Spectrometry in Clinical Diagnostics
Part of the Fourth Annual Next Generation Dx Summit
August 21-22
The use of mass spectrometry in clinical diagnostics is growing rapidly. In the past six months there have been over 50 papers published outlining the use of mass spec methods in clinical microbiology laboratories alone. It offers the advantage of greater sensitivity and specificity over other methods and has applications in infectious disease and oncology diagnostics. This conference will feature case studies on the use of mass spec applications in clinical diagnostics.
Topics to be covered include:
Automation
Assay standardization
FDA requirements
Combination methodologies (ie, nucleic acid plus mass spec) for detection of pathogens
Mass spec detection advantages over sequencing methods
Blood culture bottles analysis
Scientists who wish to present their knowledge and expertise to their colleagues are asked to click here to submit an abstract. Remember to specify the conference that you are interested in and please provide your full contact information.
All proposals are subject to review by the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the highest quality of the conference program.
